Trip to Genting to Meet Ice Age Adventure and Behind the Scenes

Hi, I'm WH, the writer for this Genting trip. My Sis, CW had successfully posted out her review on i-City and now its my turn to write mine. When Mom said she'll be bringing me and my Sis, CW to Genting with her fellow bloggers' friends, we was so happy and looking forward to it since this was our first time attending it as a blogger.
Me and my Sis with our blogger tag
We started our journey from Wisma Genting at 9.30 a.m. and I had a good nap before we reached our destination i.e. First World Hotel. We were then ushered to watch Ice Age Adventure at Genting International Convention Centre Meeting where we received our tag and goodie bag. Our tag i.e. a Blogger tag and I', so happy and proud of myself upon receiving it...
Having fun posing with the Ice Age 3D photos there
Me, my Sis and Mommy had all the fun taking all those 3D photos, getting chop at our bookmark, watching the movie, enjoyed the stage games and posing with Sid, Diego and Scrat. All these 3 were my favourite characters in Ice Age Adventure. I also won some limited edition notebook by just dancing with them as I love to dance. Best thing is ice-cream was given free after the Ice Age Adventure tour. Yeah...
Nice and creative ? You can pose like me if you want to. Ha ha ha...
After the tour, we had a buffet as our lunch at Coffee Terrace. I love the ice-cream and the chicken rice there. It was delicious while my Sis said the "lin ngau" soup there was nice while Mommy love the deserts. After our yummylicious lunch, we were ushered to the Behind-The-Scenes Tour where we got to know the history of Tan Sri Dato' Lim Goh Tong and the history of Genting. Here, we learned how Tan Sri Dato' Lim who started as a carpenter and before he passed away, he became a billionaire and how he found location of Genting and his thoughts. Never give up and work hard if you want to achieve something. We had learned a lot here as not only history, we learned about the future development of Genting also. The new outdoor theme park will be ready by 2016. There will be lots of new rides and new hotel too. Just can't wait for that to be happen...
Me here at Visitors' Galleria showcasing
The next stop is to visit the Genting International Showroom where we were shown how the back stage, lighting and sound control system work during a show or event. Something interesting to me as I normally just watched it without knowing the facts of it.
Me reported here at Genting International Showroom
Next, our tour was to visit the First World Hotel's laundry which was the largest hotel laundry in Malaysia. Here, we learned how the hotel manages its dirty linens and how all the clothes been ironed by the machines. Interesting facts as I always wonder how long it takes to clean all the dirty linens and staff required. With all the machines, just few of them that manage it.
Me and other kids bloggers who had joined the review for the Malaysia largest hotel laundry
After that, we were taught to make sushi maki and my favourite cupcakes in a See, Do & Eat workshop by the Master Chef there. I got to show my inner-talent here after attending few workshops before with Mom and I enjoyed all the food here. Tea time...
Do you liked my creations...
So, if any of you would like to join the Behind the Scenes Tour, just register yourself and pay RM20 per person. If you want to know the details of the event, you can always look out for Mommy's blog post link here .http://5-little-angels.blogspot.com/2014/09/ice-age-adventure-at-genting.html and here http://5-little-angels.blogspot.com/2014/10/genting-behind-scenes-tour.html. Mommy had to separate it into 2 as her review too long to share but mine, 1 is enough. He he he...
Me, my Sis and Mommy was here to cover the event
Thank you very much to Resort World Genting for such a great trip and some lessons that I'll always remembered for the rest of my life. Me, my Sis and Mommy had enjoyed ourselves so much with the workshop, the movie, the activities, the food and the knowledge that we had gained on that day. I'll always remind myself of what Tan Sri Dato' Lim had said that if you want to achieve something, you must work hard and I'll definitely work hard to achieve my dream and my ambition....
